They had some gorgoeus little Christmas ornaments. These angels were only $5 each. I bought a couple for a good friend and attached them to some home-made jam to make the it extra special.
Apples used her pocket money to buy this reindeer for our tree.
And I couldn't resist this butterfly!
There was also fair trade coffee, textiles, toys and this beautiful inlaid incense holder that my friend (who I was shopping with) gave ME for Christmas after I admired it! (Aren't I a lucky girl?)
Sadly, Siham Craftlink won't be there next week, but Pam, who sells the handicrafts, has a showroom in Acacia Ridge (here's the link) and Liz who sells the coffee can be contacted through Facebook.
The other stall where we found some Christmas bounty was back over at Nelly's. No, I didn't buy people cheese for Christmas (though, personally, I would love to get cheese from Santa!) Nelly's son Anthony and his partner Dorelain had joined Nelly with a beautiful range of chocolate bouquets (for much less than you'd pay online for similar).
ChilliPepper bought a tiny cute bouquet for one of her friends and Apples chose one of these to go with the jam and angels for my friend.
These were my favourite. Mmm... Lindt!!!
What a festive way to spread the love! Dorelain and Anthony will be at Kuraby Markets again next week so pick up a chocolate bouquet for that person in your life who has everything.
These two stalls only scratch the surface of the Christmas shopping opportunities at Kuraby Markets. And it's SO much nicer being out in the sunshine listening to live music than being at an overcrowded shopping centre full of grouchy parents and overstimulated kids. This Saturday is the last market day before Christmas, so it's the perfect time to check out Kuraby Markets and finish off that pesky Christmas shopping once and for all!
